Graphic Design for Print in Birmingham, AL
Flyers, business cards, banners, book covers, menus, and invitations — designed print-ready at the same shop that prints them. One handoff instead of two. Local in Homewood.
What We Design
Everything designed for print — sized correctly, with proper bleeds, CMYK color, and embedded fonts.
- Flyers & Brochures
Event flyers, tri-fold brochures, and promotional handouts designed for the right paper size with correct bleed and margin setup. We design to what the press needs, not just what looks good on screen.
Event flyers, bi-fold, tri-fold, z-fold brochures
- Business Cards
Business card layouts with your logo, contact information, and finish choice. Standard 3.5×2" or custom sizes. We set up the file correctly for the stock and finish you plan to print on.
Standard, square, rounded corner, folded card
- Banners & Signage
Large-format design for vinyl banners, retractable pull-up banners, step-and-repeat backgrounds, and yard signs. These need specific DPI, bleed, and color handling — we build files that print large without going soft.
Vinyl banners, pull-up banners, yard signs, window graphics
- Book Covers
Cover design for self-published books — front cover, back cover, and spine laid out as a single print-ready spread. We calculate the spine width from your page count and paper stock so the cover fits when it's bound.
Paperback, hardcover, coil-bound — full wraparound spread
- Menus & Programs
Restaurant menus, event programs, church bulletins, and ceremony booklets. Multi-panel layouts, folded formats, and covers designed to match your brand and print correctly on the stock you choose.
Laminated menus, saddle-stitched programs, single-sheet folded
- Invitations & Announcements
Wedding invitations, graduation announcements, event invites, and save-the-dates designed as print-ready files — sized correctly for the envelope, with bleeds set and fonts embedded.
Flat cards, folded invitations, RSVP cards, full suites
- Logos & Brand Identity
Logo design and basic brand identity packages for businesses that need a mark before they can print anything else. We deliver vector files (AI, PDF, SVG) formatted for both print and screen.
Logo, business card, letterhead — coordinated from one brief
- Stationery & Letterhead
Letterhead, envelope, and notepad layouts that match your business brand. Designed as production-ready files sized to the specific paper stock and print method.

Why Design and Print at the Same Shop
Designed for how it will print
A designer working in a vacuum produces files that look good on screen but cause problems at the press — low-resolution images, missing bleeds, RGB colors that shift to muddy CMYK at print. We design with the press in mind because we're the ones printing it.
One less handoff
When design and print are at two different vendors, you're coordinating two timelines and making sure the file that leaves the designer is actually correct before it hits our press. When we do both, we fix issues before they become your problem.
Faster revision rounds
Design revisions happen in the same shop where the final press check happens. If a color proof shows something off, we adjust the file and reprint — no emailing back to an external designer, waiting, and reprinting.
No minimum design projects
We'll design a single flyer or a full brand identity package. Design is quoted per project after we understand the scope — not a monthly retainer or a minimum engagement.
How Design Projects Work
- 1
Describe What You Need
Tell us what you need designed, what it will be used for, and your print specs (size, quantity, finish). If you have existing brand files — logo, fonts, brand colors — send them. If you need a logo designed from scratch, describe your business and your visual preferences.
- 2
We Quote and Start
We provide a flat project quote based on scope. You approve before we start. First proof is delivered digitally — usually within 2–3 business days for most print design jobs. You review and provide consolidated feedback for the revision round.
- 3
Approve and Print
Once you approve the final design, we send it straight to press — no file transfer, no format conversion, no waiting. Your print job is in production the same day or the next business day after approval.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I have to use your design services to print here?
- No — the majority of our print jobs come in with artwork already supplied. If you have a print-ready file (PDF with correct bleeds and color profile), we go straight to press. Design services are for customers who need help creating or correcting a file before printing.
- What does "print-ready" mean?
- A print-ready file is set up correctly for the press: the correct dimensions with 0.125" bleed on all edges, CMYK color mode (not RGB), all fonts embedded or outlined, and images at 300 DPI or higher at final print size. Files that don't meet these specs can print incorrectly — wrong size, soft images, color shift, or text getting cut off. We check every file before printing and will flag issues before we run it.
- Can you fix a file I already have that is not print-ready?
- Often yes — common issues like missing bleed, RGB-to-CMYK conversion, and low-resolution images can be corrected. Send us your file and we'll tell you what needs to be fixed and whether we can handle it or whether it needs to go back to the original designer.
- How much does graphic design cost?
- Design is quoted per project because scope varies significantly — a simple business card layout costs less than a full wedding invitation suite. We provide a flat project quote after you describe what you need. There are no hourly surprises — you approve the scope and price before we start.
- How many revisions are included?
- Most design projects include two rounds of revisions in the quoted price. A revision round means you review the proof, give us consolidated feedback, and we update the file. Extensive scope changes (new copy, new layout direction, new color scheme) beyond the two rounds are quoted separately. We explain this upfront so there are no billing surprises.
